POONCH, July 26: Poonch XI defeated Young Star Football Club by four goals to two (4-2) in the ongoing Poonch Hockey League, here.
PHL is being organised by Hockey Poonch in collaboration with Sham Lal Hockey Academy and Power House Hockey Club Poonch under the aegis of Hockey J&K and is being sponsored by Sham Lal Hockey Academy.
Dalip Kumar Luthra, senior sportsperson was the chief guest on the occasion, while prominent among others present were Nirdosh Kumar,Vijay Kumar and Ravinder Singh, Senior Hockey player.
The match was officiated by a technical panel of experts namely Gurjot Singh and Gunpreet Singh, Meenakshi Khajuria and Urvashi Sharma.
The League is being conducted under the technical supervision of Mukesh Kumar, Hockey Coach.
