LEH, Mar 8: Padma Shree Tsultrim Chonjor inaugurated Police Public Archery Tournament, 2021 at Sports Stadium Zanskar, here today.
Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Zanksar Tsewang Rigzin, President Muslim Association Zanskar, president LBA Youth Wing Zanksar, vice president Zanskar Gonpa Association and SHO Zanskar Jigmat Singhay were present on the occasion.
Addressing the gathering, Padma Shree Tsultrim Chonjor shared his struggles and experiences of connecting Lungnak-Zanskar with Himachal Pradesh.
Station House Officer Zanskar Jigmat Singhay congratulated Tsultrim Chonjor for receiving Padma Shree award and making whole Zanksar proud.
The SHO addressing the athletes stressed for true sportsmanship and brotherhood.
Pertinently, the tournament has been organised as per the recent announcement made by Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Ladakh S S Khandare during his visit to Zanskar.
About 63 teams across Zanskar Sub Division are participating in this tournament.
