MENDHAR, Mar 21: District Police (Poonch), organised a talent hunt programme at Govt Higher Secondary School Mendhar here today.
Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Ramesh Kumar was the chief guest on the occasion while SP Poonch Shamsher Hussain presided over. SDPO Mendhar Surinder Choudhary and DySP (DAR) Poonch Khalid Amin were also present besides incharge Principal Imtiaz Naseem Hashgmi and Azeem Ali from the NGO.
The artists from Mendhar tehsil participated in the programme and displayed their talent by singing Sufiana Kalam and Ghazals. The artists included Khursheed Rather and Basheer Mastana. The music party of National Social Development Organisation, Mendhar mesmerized the audience with their talent. Pardeep Khanna announcer AIR Poonch acted as stage secretary. The SDM and SP Poonch lauded the talent displayed by the local artists stressed the need to organize such programmes in future. The best performers were also honoured on the occasion.
