Sports Festival Week continues

DODA, Oct 26: In continuation to Sports Festival Week-2020, the District Police today organized ‘Run for Unity’ for age group about 20, here.
The running was started from District Police Line and culminated at Ganpat Crossing Pul Doda wherein number of civilian as well as security forces including J&K police participated in the run for unity.
Rakesh Kumar son of Dalip Singh resident of Dessa bagged 1st position while Sandeep Singh son of Bharath Singh resident of Bhagwah clinched 2nd position and 3rd position was secured by Nitan Singh son of Yashpal Singh resident of Dessa.
The participants were awarded with appreciation certificates along with cash prizes and trophies.
The event was attended by Raj Kumar, SP (Operation); Mohd Ayaz Mughal, District Education Planning Officer; Neel Kant, Dy Commandant SSB and many other police officers of the district.
The event was organised by following set guidelines issued by the Government to conduct any event.
SSP, Mumtaz Ahmed thanked the public, participants and all coordinating agencies especially Youth and Sports Department and media fraternity for their co-operation to conduct the event.
