Police organizes debate under CAP

RAJOURI, Mar 29: Police Headquarters Rajouri today organized a debate at District Police Lines here under its Civic Action Programme (CAP) to provide an opportunity to the youth to showcase their talent.
The event was inaugurated by Dr Mohd Haseeb Mughal, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police Rajouri-Poonch Range in presence of senior police officers of District Rajouri and about 60 students from different schools of Rajouri attended the event.
The participant students were divided into three categories viz. Sub Junior (Class 5th to 8th), Junior (Class 9th to 12th) and Senior (College and University). The students of JK Police Public School Rajouri, Panorama Public School, Modern Education HSS Institute, Dhangri Himalayan Education Mission Institute and Degree College Rajouri Government Girls and Boys Model Higher Secondary School Rajouri, Government PG College and BGSB University Rajouri participated in the event.
During the debate, students put forth their point of view on the topics provided for different categories and spoke in favour and against the topics. Bercheez Farooq, Mehak Malik and Rehan Bhat secured 1st, 2nd and 3rd position respectively in the Sub Junior Category while Almas Saleem, Mehar Malik and Aaqib Ashraf secured 1st, 2nd and 3rd position respectively in Junior Category and Iram Gafoor,  Mehlaqa Batool and Mohd Ummar secured 1st, 2nd and 3rd position respectively in Senior Category.
All the winners were rewarded with cash prizes by DIG RP Range Rajouri besides consolation prizes were also distributed among remaining top 10 students from each category who participated in the event.
