KISHTWAR, June 26: SSP Kishtwar Shafqat Hussain Batt inaugurated Power Lifting Championship in coordination with Kishtwar District Powerlifting Association at Chowgan Ground here, in which around 50 men and women Powerlifters from different parts of the district took part.
The event witnessed by Dy SP hqrs Ashish Gupta, Insp Abid Bukhari and huge gathering of spectators who kept on boosting the Powerlifters.
At the end, the winners were awarded with trophies, medals and certificates. Pardeep Kumar bagged the title of senior powerman, whereas Momin Dar bagged the title of Junior powerman and Kusum Kotwal bagged the the title of Power woman and accordingly were awarded with trophies and cash reward of Rs. 10000, Rs 6000 and Rs 4000 respectively.
SSP Kishtwar advised the youth to motivate others also.
