Police organises friendly Cricket match

UDHAMPUR, Dec 26: A friendly Cricket match between police and Latti Cricket Club was organised by police at Latti, here today.
The friendly cricket match was played between combined team of PS Latti, PP Dudu and CRPF and Latti Cricket Club.
After winning the toss, Police combined team scored 113 runs in 15 overs, whereas Latti Cricket Club bundled out 110 runs, thus Police won the match with runs.
SPO Muqeem Ahmed was declared best all rounder, whereas Inspector Ajay Kumar Engotra, SHO PS Latti who scored 33 runs in 15 balls was declared as man of the match.
Darshan Kumar BDC Chairman, Kasturi Lal Gupta, Sarpanch Latti and Retd Head Master Khalid Hussain were also witnessed the friendly match between and they stressed upon the role of games in maintaining physical fitness of an individual.
“The youth of the Latti Dudu areas have immense talent but they do not have proper stadium to enhance their skills of sports,” they narrated while speaking on the occasion.
They demanded that a full-fledged stadium for Latti, so that youth of the area will not deviate towards drug addiction and other criminal activities.
