JAMMU, Mar 7: PNB XI defeated Media XI Cricket Club by eight wickets in a thrilling match played here at KC Sports Club in first indoor cricket match.
Batting first, the Media XI made 36 runs in the stipulated 10 overs. Shubam, Rahul made 14 and 11 runs respectively. For PNB XI, Sanjeev took three important wicket whereas Narinder bagged two wickets.
In reply, PNB XI chased the target in 8.2 overs. Pawan and Rohit made 14 and 13 runs respectively. For Media XI, Sachin took a single wicket in the match.
Sanjeev Sharma was declared as Man of the Match for his splendid performance with the ball.
Ashwani Khajuria, Joint Director, Industries and Commerce (Geology and Mining) graced the function as chief guest. MD KC Sports Club, Arjun Chowdhary was also present on the occasion.
