JAMMU, Dec 1: Players showed serenity and composure on day-2 of the ongoing 9th State Speedball Championship, being organized by J&K Speedball Association at MA Stadium, here.
Over 1500 players are taking part in this championship from different schools and districts.
Kavinder Gupta, Speaker J&K Legislative Assembly was the chief guest in today’s proceedings at the opening cermony, while Er SP Langer (Chairman), Ravi Tikku (President), VK Sharma (Advisor), and VK Gupta,(Vice-President) were the special guests.
Savita Sethi, Jyoti Gupta, Kiran Aggarwal, all members of the Association were also present on the occasion.
Today at the closing ceremony, Shafqat Watali, IGP Armed was the chief guest, while AH Munshi, SSP Railways was the special guest and Danish Mishra, Chairman Sehyog Chairtable Trust was the guest of honour.
SK Ali, Principal KB Public School, Suctia Gupta, Principal JSS Kathua, Ashok Gupta, Principal Vimal Public School, Vikas Gupta, Principal Bangwanthia Shishu Mandir School also graced the occasion with their presence.
They distributed medals among the winners of the 2nd day.
The vote of thanks was presented by Er SP Langer, Chairman J&K Speedball Association.
