JAMMU, Mar 5: Wushu Association of J&K selected team for participating in upcoming 20th Sub-Junior National Wushu Championship which is scheduled to be held at Ranchi from March 21 to 26.
About 150 players from 10 districts participated in the selection trial. The selection trials were conducted under the supervision of five members committee comprising Kuldeep Handoo who was the chairman of the committee, whereas Maqsood Rather, Ajaz Hassan, Lalit Singh and Nisar Mir were the member of the selection committee.
The committee shortlisted 23 players for Sanda discipline, whereas 16 players were selected for Taolu discipline.
The Association will organise a coaching camp for selected players before participating in the upcoming championship at Wushu Hall MA Stadium from March 6 to 18.
