PG Deptt, GCW Gandhi Nagar script wins

JAMMU, Oct 16: The Combine Post Graduate (PG) Department of University of Jammu and the Government College for Women (GCW) Gandhi Nagar registered wins to advance in the ongoing Inter-Collegiate Handball Championship for both men and women, being organized by the Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu, here.
Earlier, in men’s section, PG Department thrashed Bhargava Degree College Samba by 14 points (22-07) in a one-sided contest and moved into the next round, while GDC Kathua got walkover against GGM Science College to advance in the tournament.
Meanwhile, in women section, GCW Gandhi Nagar outplayed GDC Kathua by six goals to four (6-4) in an exciting match, while in another match of women section, GCW Parade got walk over to advance in the tournament.
