JAMMU, Dec 4: PG Department of Jammu University and MAM College trounced their opponents in their respective matches and sailed into the next round of the ongoing Inter -Collegiate Kho-Kho (Men) Tournament, being organized by Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu here today.
In the first match of the day, PG Department of Jammu University beat Government Degree College (GDC) Hiranagar by just two points and the score remained 12-10, whereas in the second match, MAM College thrashed GDC Udhampur by 8-7 points.
Meanwhile, GDC Kathua got walkover from GDC Thannamandi and SPMR Commerce College got walkover from Trikuta Degree College as both the teams failed to report to the venue.
The matches were officiated by Gagan Kumar, Anil Kumar, Ankush Sharma, Sunil Sharma and Abishek Sharma.
The tournament is being organized under the supervision of Prof Dhian Singh Bhau, Director, Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu.
