Pernote CC registers win in T20 opener

DODA, Sept 12: Pernote Cricket Club, Doda scripted a resounding win over Dongru Cricket Club in the inaugural match of the T20 Cricket Tournament, being organized by District Police Doda, under Civic Action Programme at Government Higher Secondary School Bhella ground, here today.
Earlier, SP Doda Mohd Arif Rishu declared the tournament open in a well attended function.
Eight teams drawn from district Doda are taking part in the tournament.
Speaking on the occasion, SP Doda highlighted the people friendly approaches of District Police and utility of Civic Action Programmes and sought cooperation of general public especially youth in eradicating crime from the district.
