JAMMU, Dec 20: PC Vaid Angles Dream Playway School, Akhnoor, celebrated its Annual Day with great enthusiasm today. Cabinet Minister Satish Sharma was the chief guest, while Prem Lata, Joint Director of the Municipal Corporation Jammu, was the guest of honour.
The event began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by Minister Satish Sharma, the school’s founder Puran Chand Vaid, MD Sushil Sharma, Principal Lata Sharma, and Vice Principal Vandana Jamwal.
The program commenced with Vice Principal Vandana Jamwal’s welcome address, followed by Principal Lata Sharma, who presented the school’s annual report. She emphasized the school’s commitment to developing students academically, physically, and mentally. Sharma also highlighted various extracurricular activities that help nurture the students’ overall growth. The cultural program, which was the highlight of the event, received enthusiastic applause from the attendees, including family members and other guests.
In his address, Minister Satish Sharma stressed the importance of shaping children’s character and education. He urged parents to guide their children, noting that this is the stage where children learn from both teachers and parents. He praised the students for their exceptional performances and commended the school for its efforts. Sharma assured that the Government is focused on eliminating unemployment, curbing youth drug abuse, and creating more playgrounds. The event was attended by Panchayat members, Sarpanches, and family members of the students.
