JAMMU, Jan 27: Judo Competition (Yellow Belt Grading) was organized by the Parivartan NGO, which concluded here today.
The three day camp for the children between 2 to 5 years was inaugurated on January 24, 2016. The competition was held in the premises of Orange Pre-school, Durga Nagar in which more than twenty children of various categories participated.
On the occasion, Vikas Gupta, general secretary, Jammu and Kashmir Judo Association was the chief guest, while the senior Judo coach JKSSC, Suraj Bhan Singh was the guest of honour.
Speaking on the occasion, chairperson, Orange Pre-School, Archana Pushap lauded the efforts of NGO and Judo Association for organizing such an event for the promotion of sports among the children in the school premises.
In his address, Vikas Gupta said sports and education, both are very necessary in the life of children and this was very good initiative taken by the management of the school.
President, Parivatarn, Vikas Sharma also spoke on the occasion.
