JAMMU, Dec 22: A Parasailing event was held at Sainik School, Nagrota to promote adventure sports activities in Jammu.
Over 40 players including participants from NCC took part in the event which was held smoothly, successfully and safely.
The activity was organized by National Adventure Foundation, Govt of India, Jammu Chapter in collaboration with PY Resorts.
The youngest participant who took part in the event was Saanvi Katoch of 6 years.
12 participants were below 13 years in the event.
The heaviest participant of the event, who was of 96 kilograms was lifted to more than 70 feet height above ground.
All the flights were conducted under the expert guidance and supervision of Col K Chandra, Director, National Adventure Foundation (NAF), Jammu Chapter.
The youth fully enjoyed the parasailing which was viewed by a large number of audiences.
The next parasailing and rifle shooting event will be organized by NAF on December 25, 2013 at Sainik School, Nagrota.
