Paras slams brilliant century as Horizon Club wins cricket title

SAMBA, Jan 27: First Class cricketer Paras Sharma slammed a brilliant century to help Horizon Cricket Club outplay Bhatia Cricket Club by 25 runs in the 3rd Suresh Singh Slathia Memorial Cricket Tournament held at Gurha Slathia, Vijaypur, here today.
Fifteen teams from different blocks and clubs participated in this cricket tournament.
The final match was played between Horizon Cricket Club, Gurha Slathia and Bhatia Cricket Club, Bishnah.
Horizon Cricket Club won the toss and elected to bat first, scoring 207 runs in 25 overs. Paras Sharma top scored with 113 runs, while Akash Choudhary, Akhil Singh and Jatin contributed 27, 22 and 20 runs to the total respectively.
In reply, Bhatia Cricket Club scored 182 runs in 25 overs, thus lost the match by 25 runs.
Dr Harmesh Singh Slathia was the chief guest on the occasion, who distributed the prizes among the winners and runners-up teams on the occasion.
Jatinder Singh, Sapranch, Ghar Singh and Raman Slathia were also present on the occasion.
