JAMMU, Apr 14: Parade Sports Association defeated Game Changer Cricket Club RS Pura by 46 runs in the inaugural match of the ‘Salute & Tribute to Martyrs’ T20 Veteran Tournament, being organised by Parade Sports Association in collaboration with Laxmi Cricket Club at Parade Ground, here.
Batting first, Parade Sports Association scored a good total of 163 runs in the allotted 20 overs, losing 8 wickets in the process. Pardeep Bali top scored with 57 runs off 33 balls, studded with 10 fours, while Vicky Dogra contributed unbeaten 38 runs. Dhruv Mahajan and Akshay Khajuria contributed 20 and 11 runs to the total respectively. From Game Changer Cricket Club, Vicky took 2 wickets, while Ravi, Sachin, Manjeet, Kulbir and Ashwini claimed one wicket each.
In reply, Game Changer Cricket Club bundled out for 117 runs, thus lost the match by 46 runs. Sachin top scored with 35 runs. From Parade Sports Association, Dhruv Mahajan took 3 wickets, while Narinder bagged 2 wickets. Akshay also claimed one wicket. For his brilliant innings of 57 runs, Pardeep Bali was adjudged as the man of the match.
