SAMBA, Nov 21: After traversing a distance of nearly 350 km from Srinagar, the Para-cycling expedition, organised by BSF in collaboration with Aditya Mehta Foundation today reached at Samba.
The expedition was flagged off by Rakesh Asthana, Director General of Border Security Forces from Srinagar on November 19.
The team consist of 15 cyclists each from BSF and Aditya Mehta Foundation was received by NS Jamwal, IG BSF FTR HQ BSF Jammu along with Hari Lal DIG SHQ BSF, Indreshwar Nagar, BSF officers and various civil officials of Samba administration.
BSF is being organized this Para-cycling expedition namely ‘Infinity Ride 2020, in association with Aditya Mehta Foundation which is scheduled to be culminated at Southern tip of India- Kanyakumari on December 31.
The motive of the rally is to raise the awareness and to boost the morale of ‘Divyang Yodhas’ for their participation in Para-olympics. After serving lunch, the expedition was again flagged off for their onward journey.
