Pankhuri clinches Semi-Classical Dance title

JAMMU, Jan 21: In a significant accomplishment, Pankhuri Malhotra, a Class 6 student of Delhi Public School Jammu, won the first prize in the Semi-Classical Dance Competition at the Lovely Professional University (LPU), Jalandhar. The competition was part of the event Nach Punjabi Nach, organized by the Body and Soul Dance Academy of Jalandhar.
The event, which saw participation from around 150 students from across India, was attended by MLA Manjeet Singh, who was the chief guest. Out of the 150 participants, 17 were selected for the Show Stopper based on their performance and profiles. Pankhuri stood out among them and was awarded the first position along with the prestigious Show Stopper Trophy.
Her exceptional talent not only earned her recognition at the national level but also led to her selection for an International Dance Competition that will be held in Dubai in July 2025. This accomplishment speaks volumes about Pankhuri’s dedication and passion for dance, making her one of the most promising young talents in the field.
