JAMMU, Aug 17: Open gyms were inaugurated at Apna Vihar in Ward Number 55 and Ward Number 48 of Jammu Municipal Corporation.
Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Corporator Pritam Singh inaugurated Open Gym at Apna Vihar falling in Ward Number 55.
Singh while speaking on the occasion informed that JMC has already taken up the job of commissioning Open Gyms along with installing required number of equipments related to them so that general public, locals, old persons and children can avail full benefit of these facilities in an open and eco-friendly atmosphere and inhale fresh air while performing different types of physical exercise and its related activities on routine basis.
Among others present were Kewal Saini, Manvinder Singh Dutta, SC Khajuria, HK Pangotra, BR Chandan, SK Arora, Suraj Chopra, TR Sharma, Bharat Bhushan, Rampal Saini, TP Singh, Vijay Nanda, Pritam Singh Jamwal and Neeraj Tandon.
Meanwhile, Open Gym installed at park in front of Gorkh Nagar Bahu Fort was inaugurated by Sham Lal Basson, Corporator Ward Number 48 Bahu Fort (West) Jammu.
Leela Jamwal, Chairperson, All J&K Gorkha Sabha, Latish Sharma, District General Secretary Yout Congress, Ward President Congress (I) Vaishno Kapoor, Joginder Kumar, Chand Kumar Gupta, Ajay Singh, Balram Sharma and many others were present on the occasion.
