Open Gym inaugurated

JAMMU, Mar 3: Dr HS Paul, Social Worker and Delhi Bureau Chief of Daily Excelsior inaugurated Open Gym at Guru Harkrishan Park, Guru Harkrishan Nagar, PaschimVihar, New Delhi.
The installation of all the equipments was arranged by Raghuvinder Shokeen, MLA AAP, Nangloi Jatt, (Delhi West), Constituency and today he handed over the Gym to the general public of the area.
Dr.Paul appreciated the initiative taken by Shokeen and lauded him for his serious concern about the availability of necessary amenities in his constituency.
He further bought other unattended works in the notice of Shokeen in the presence of large number of residents of the colony.
Thereafter, Shokeen promised to replace pavement of red stone with non- skid tiles in the park opposite Gurudwara Saheb.
In addition, he also assured the public for carpeting of all roads, installation of high rise LED lights in the parks, streets and CCTV Cameras in the colony.
The residents also demanded construction of Community Centre and suggested him to take initiative of constructing the same at a ‘piece of land’ lying vacant for more than two decades for the said purpose.
Rohit of Force Up Gym gave important tips and demonstration on the Open Gym equipments.
The function was arranged by Sunny Khera (Member National Council), CS Paul (Daily Excelsior), Harjyot Singh (Social Worker), Pulkit Bakshi (Youth President) and other members of the youth wing of Aam Aadmi Party.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Bhupinder Singh Jaggi, Gurmeet Singh ‘Tony’, Surjit Singh, HS Chandiok, Avtar Singh Bagga, Amarjit Singh Bakshi, Prem Mahajan, Deedar Singh Bakshi, Shashi Mahajan, AS Kohli and Sharan Paul.
At the end, vote of thanks was delivered by Dr Paul on behalf of residents of the colony.
He appealed them to be united and raise their demands in single voice for the welfare of the society.
