Office bearers of KCPS Alumni Association elected

JAMMU, Oct 29: Celebrating the Silver Jubilee year of KC Public School, the first-ever meeting and get-together of its Alumni Association was held in the School campus, here today.
The main agenda of the meeting was the election of office bearers of the Association, wherein Ankush Sharma, Karan Sharma, Heena Pathania and Jasleen Kour were elected as president, vice president, secretary and deputy secretary respectively, Snigdha Shekhar and Palki Sharma were announced as executive committee members and Sanjana Manchanda and Shubhangi Mahajan have been elected as PROs of the committee.
The first part of the function commenced in the Multi-Sports Hall of KC Sports Club with a welcome address by Principal AK Mishra, followed by the ceremonial lamp which was lit by senior alumni to mark the auspicious beginning of the KCPS Alumni Association. A short cultural programme consisting of Guru Vandana dance-cum-prayer and an inspirational group song were presented by current senior students of the School.
The alumni of the first four batches have since completed their higher education and professional training and settled into various careers in diverse fields were invited to speak about their memories of their alma mater and their experiences after passing out of its portals. All were unanimous in recalling fond memories of the School and the role it had played in shaping them into responsible, committed and confident individuals.
After the function, the friendly matches of Cricket and Basketball were played at the KC Sports Club.
