NSS Volunteer Jasvir to represent India in South Korea

JAMMU, July 16: Jasvir Singh, NSS volunteer of Jammu and Kashmir has been selected by Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Govt of India for India’s National Youth Delegation to South Korea from July 25 to August 2, 2018, under International Youth Exchange Program to represent India in South Korea.
He will exchange his thoughts and culture with the youths of South Korea. He has completed his MA in Political Science from University of Jammu. Previously he has been awarded with Prestigious National Service Award 2016-17 by Govt of India for his outstanding services to the society.
Mr. Jasvir has also participated in prestigious National Republic Day Parade 2015 in New Delhi. He is actively working for social welfare as NSS volunteer and continuously participates in activities like plantation drives, awareness rallies, blood donation camps, digital literacy campaign, Swachh Bharat abhiyan.He is a regular blood donar and donated blood 9 times.
He belongs from a farmer family of economically and educationally backward area Meer, Panchari of District Udhampur, J&K.
He attributed his success to his mother.
