JAMMU, May 14: APS Akhnoor organized Northern Command Inter Army School Badminton tournament under the aeges of HQ Northern Command, here.
Total 12 teams, including 6 boys and 6 girls from APS Leh, APS Udhampur, APS Dhar Road, APS Nagrota, APS Akhnoor and APS Rakhmuthi participated in the event. The Tournament was inaugurated by Col Rohit Menon along with Maj K Tiwari and Principal Mr KCS Mehta.
Brig Vikas Chaudhary Chairman APS Akhnoor has sent best wishes to all teams. In boys category, APS Udhampur emerged winners and APS Akhnoor were runners-up and in girls category APS Udhampur were winners and APS Akhnoor claimed the runners-up spot.
The trophies were presented by Maj K Tiwari and T P Singh, senior Badminton player.
The officials of the tournament were also appreciated and honoured with mementos.
The tournament was coordinated by Sunita Puttu, In-charge CCA.
