Nissar, Siva help India to beat Sri Lanka by 8 wkts

JAMMU, Mar 29: Splendid unbeaten 79 runs of Siva Kumar, and J&K’s Aqib Nissar (47) helped Indian team to trounce Sri Lanka by 8 wickets in the ongoing Bangabandhu 4-Nation Physically Challenged tournament, being played at Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh, today.
With this win over Sri Lanka, the Indian team reached the semi-finals round.
Batting first, Sri Lanka made 164 runs with the loss of 6 wickets which was chased easily by the Indian team by losing only 2 wickets wherein Sachin Siva made 24 runs, whereas Mohd Patel scored 8 runs along with unbeaten Nissar’s 47 and and Siva Kumar’s 79 runs. Kailas Prasad, Gulnadin took 2 wickets each, while Chirag Gandhi got 1 wicket for India.
For Sri Lanka, Udara and Sanjeewa took 1 wicket each.
Siva Kumar was declared as man of the match for his outstanding performance.
