SRINAGAR, Sept 14: District unit Sopore of National and International Footballers Forum (NIFF) with the support of NIFF J&K organised an exhibition match at College Ground Sopore, here.
The match was played between International Stars Ishfaq Ahmed and Mehrajuddin Wadoo in which known football players including Shahnawaz Bashir, Danish Farooq, Khalid Qayoom, Farhan Ganai and the current talented crop of players showcased their talent and enthralled the crowd.
The game was a display of quality and clinical football which thoroughly entertained the crowd. The match ended on a 1-0 win for Ishfaq Ahmed X1 and 12 year old local boy Moosa emerged as the winner.
All the office bearers and members of NIFF including Bashir Malik, Sajid Yousuf, Hilal Rasool Parray, Manzoor Dar, Iftikhar Ahmed, Muzamil Mahmud, Salman Ashraf, Dr Burhan Amin and Adil Qadir were present during the match.
Chairman NIFF, BA Malik said that such matches would organise in future also, so that, the local talent will get a chance to rub their shoulders with the superstars to boost their morale.
