JAMMU, Dec 7: NGR Football Club and J&K Bank Academy scripted tie-breaker victories over their rivals in the ongoing 13th Christmas Gold Cup Football Tournament, being organised by J&K Christian Welfare Association under the aegis of Jammu and Kashmir Football Association (JKFA) at GGM Science College Football ground, here.
In the first match, NGR defeated Young Rovers FC by five goals to four (5-4), while in another match, J&K Bank Academy got the better of Sainik Colony FC by four goals to three (4-3) via tie-breaker.
The matches were officiated by Suresh Gupta, Ricky Kumar, Dil Bahadur, Nitika and Rocky.
In tomorrow’s fixture, Shaheen FC will take on Clemart FC at 1:30 pm, while Param FC will face Sports Saviour at 3 pm.
