NCC registers 48 runs win over KCSC

JAMMU, May 15: NCC thrashed KC Sports Club (KCSC) by a huge margin of 48 runs in the second semi-final of the ongoing 2nd Holi Cup T20 Cricket Tournament at Phalian Mandal Cricket ground, here.
KC Sports Club won the toss and elected to field. Batting first, NCC scored a huge total of 222 in the stipulated 20 overs for the loss of 4 wickets. Paras remained unbeaten with 78 runs off 36 balls while Pranav was the top scorer with 80 runs off 50 balls. Aditya also added 41 runs to the total.
For KC Sports Club, Ajay took 2 wickets by conceiving 26 runs in his 2.1 overs while Sahil and Hisham also claimed one wicket each.
In reply, KC Sports Club failed to chase the target and could made only 175 runs in 19.4 overs by losing nine wickets. Surya was the top scorer for the KCSC with 51 runs off 29 balls while Ateev and Hisham also added 30 and 25 runs, respectively to the total.
For NCC side, Deepak was the wrecker-in-chief who scalped three wickets in 2.4 overs by conceiving 25 runs while Mayank took three wickets in his four-over spell and Vijay also took one wicket.
Pranav Gupta was declared as Man of the Match.
The match was officiated by Virender Singh and Vicky Bhagat as umpires, while Raj Kumar maintained the scorecard. The commentator was Sohan Bharti.
The Tournament is being organized by Mukesh Sharma, Sachin Singh and Manmohan under the chairmanship of Ankush Abrol, Member, BCCI.
