NCC beats LCC in Tennis Ball Cricket tourney

SAMBA, Apr 4: Narsingh Cricket Club (NCC) trounced Lunia Cricket Club (LCC) by big margin of 70 runs in the ongoing Tennis Ball Night Cricket Tournament, being organised at High School Jatwal, here today.
After winning toss, the scored 123 runs with the loss of seven wickets in stipulated 12 overs. Panku Jasrotia played a brilliant knock of 49 runs in 29 balls, whereas the Lunia Cricket Club could not chase the target and bundled out at 53 runs.
Hari Om from NCC was declared as man of the match for clinching four important wickets.
Surinder Singh Bagal, selector of the JKCA was the chief guest of the event, whereas Sarpanch Ajit Sharma, Renu Bala BJP Mahila Morcha, Principal Varinder Singh and Ajay Gupta were also present during the event.
The chief guest appreciated the efforts of the organisers for organising such event for local youth and encouraged the players to keep themselves busy in sports and physical fitness.
Ashwani Sharma, Raj Kumar, Rajesh Sharma, Rishu, Arjun, Radhey Sham, Raman Kumar, Rahul Sharma and Neeraj were among the organisers of the tournament in which 32 teams are taking part.
