JAMMU, Feb 1: Nav Yug Play Way School organised Annual Sports Day with great zeal and enthusiasm in the school premises, here.
About 108 students from class LKG, UKG and 1st participated in various sports activities during the day.
Chander Kanta Jamwal, founder of the school declared the event open by releasing the balloons in the air.
Various types of field events like banana race, lemon spoon race, simple race along with Musical chair and tug of war etc added to the excitement and thrill.
The prizes were distributed among the students for their excellent performance in various events of the sports.
Students who got 1st prize in different events were Jiya, Lovya, Anshika, Yamini, Abhijot, Vaibhav, Ariv and Manvi wheras 2nd prize went to Sohani, Abayrudher, Vikrant, Ananya, Saiyam, Samresh, Bhoumik, Krishna and Ridvan.
Manvit, Tanzin, Nirbhay, Raghni, Ruchi, Mahreen, Anurag, Soubhagya, Madhav, Navyua and Radhesh got 3rd prize.
Medals were distributed among the winners.
Speaking on the occasion, Preetika Jamwal, Principal of the school congratulated the winners for their superb performance.
