JAMMU, Apr 10: Navreh Cricket Club defeated Sharika Cricket Club by a big margin of 108 runs in the ongoing Navreh Premier Cricket League, played at Country Cricket Stadium Gharota, here today.
Batting first, Navreh CC managed to score 192 runs in the stipulated overs wherein Ashish Koul made 41 runs, while Anil Raina scored 40 runs and Dushyant Koul and Sunil Dutt contributed 37 and 33 runs respectively. From SCC, Kamalpreet Singh, Ayush, Rahul and Rohit claimed one wicket each.
In reply, Sharika CC bundled out at 84 runs in 14 overs. Kamalpreet Singh was the top scorer who made 20 runs. From the bowling side, Sandeep Raina took 3 wickets, Jatinder Bhat and Rakesh Dass claimed 2 wickets each and Sunil Dutt and Vikas got 1 wicket each.
Sandeep Raina was declared as man of the match for his outstanding performance.
In another match, Sai Baba Cricket Club defeated Friends Cricket Club, wherein Rajinder (Junior) was declared as man of the match.
