JAMMU, Mar 6: Navreh Cricket Club (Navreh CC) defeated Agriculture Technocrats Cricket Club (ATCC) by 61 runs in the final match and lifted the title of Mahashivratri Cup-2022, played at Country Cricket Ground Gharota, here today.
Batting first, Navreh CC scored 153 runs wherein Sunil Dutt scored 60 runs and Dimple made 35 runs. Both the middle order batsmen stabilised the inning after their team had lost three quick wickets in opening overs. From the bowling side, Tufail was the most successful bowler who took 3 wickets.
In reply, ATCC failed to achieve the target and bundled out at 92 runs wherein Tufail scored 31 runs. From the bowling side Ajay Tickoo claimed 3 scalps and Sunil Dutt and Vikas took two wickets each.
Sunil Dutt was declared as man of the series, best batsman and Man of the match in finals. The tournament was organised by Bharat Cricket Club and Country Cricket Club.
