JAMMU, July 19: National Sangeet Natak Akademi’s unique theatre workshop is exploring new trends of acting training at Natrang Studio Theatre, here.
The participants in the workshop are being introduced to the latest developed methodologies of the world of theatre.
The central point in this workshop is the work of self and the practical introduction to different school of thoughts and techniques so that they get proper exposure on what kind of work is being done today. Besides this, workshop is an excellent opportunity provided by the Akademi so that the young enthusiasts get some direction in their work.
Voice, Breathing, Emotion, Imagination, Relaxation, Sense memory etc are some of the points that will be covered in this ten day workshop.
It is pertinent to mention here that the training is being given by Vikram Sharma who is a Delhi based Actor and Actor trainer.
He is alumni of world renowned Lee Strasberg theatre and Film Institute, New York. He has experience of working in New York where he has been part of many off Broadway plays and also in India where he has been working as an actor/acting trainer and has been part of many short films and ad film campaigns. Besides that he is regular visiting faculty at the prestigious National School of Drama, New Delhi.
The youngsters who are participating in the workshop include Rishav Sharma, Kuldeep Angral, Aarti Devi, Abhinav Sharma, Kananpreet Kour, Meenakshi Bhagat, Mohit Sharma, Udit Sagar, Sumit Raina, Shivam Singh, Manoj Kumar Lalotra, Ajay Kumar Lalotra, Iftikar Mughal, Sushant Singh Charak, Akash Wadhwan and Adil Khan.
