Bank Academy makes it 1-0 against Maharaja Sports

SRINAGAR, July 19: Jammu and Kashmir Bank Academy today made it a solitary goal win against Maharaja Sports in the Premier Division League of the J&K Football Association (JKFA) at TRC ground, here.
The Bank Academy got a penalty kick in the first half which was successfully converted into a goal. On the other hand, Maharaja Sports failed in their attempts to equalise the score when the side missed the free kick awarded in their favour.
It was followed by a dilly dallying fight in the second half of the play which resulted into Bank Academy emerging 1-0 winner.
Meanwhile, in another scheduled match, Real Kashmir under-18 boys trounced Al Bilal FC by three goals to one.
Three matches of Junior Division were also played at Polo Ground West. As per the reports, Shunglipora FC got walkover Hazratball FC and Valley XI FC defeated KFC Bemina 2-1 while Tawheed FC Anchar defeated Bismillah Sports by a solitary goal.
