SAMBA, Aug 4: National level Online Quiz Competition on General Knowledge and Current Affairs was organized by Government Degree College Vijaypur.
The questions were related to current affairs, politics, sports, music, inventions and many more related topics.
Many students from different Colleges and Universities from across the country participated in the quiz competition enthusiastically.
The first position was secured by Scienthia Karlupia of APS BD Bari, Samba, while the second position was shared by Wani Firdose Wani of GDC Baramulla and Sajad Ahmad Mir of Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University. The third position was secured by Hilal Ahmad Mir of GDC Poonch. Consolation prizes were awarded to Bajees Firdous of GCW, MA Road, Srinagar, Arjumand of GDC Pampore, Kaleem Mohammad Pathan of SSM College of Engineering and Technology, Baramulla and Jahara Bashir of GCW, MA Road, Srinagar.
Dr Shittal Sharma was the Coordinator of the quiz competition whereas Prof Anil Bhagat and Dr Sunil Kumar Mangoch were the members of the organizing committee.
The quiz competition was organized under the guidance and supervision of Dr Sangeeta Sudan, Principal GDC Vijaypur. She encouraged the whole organizing team to organize more such competitions for the benefit of students.
