RAJOURI, May 17: In connection with “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsava”, Department of Economics, Government Degree College (GDC) Nowshera organized National Level Essay Writing Competition titled “Impact of Pandemic on Economic Development.”
The competition was presided over by Dr Surinder Kumar, Principal, GDC, Nowshera and Coordinated by Dr Rubeenah Akhter, Faculty Department of Economics.
It was an opportunity for youth to express their vision about the economic consequences of COVID-19 outbreak.
Among different participants from different States, Kulvinder Kour from GDC Nowshera has secured first position in the competition, Ruquia Ashraf from BGSBU Rajouri and Mansee Choudhary from GDC Nowshera stood second while Anshika Gupta from GACC Indore and Ankush Bhardwaj from GDC Nowshera got third position.
These top three contestants were awarded with certificates of excellence.
