JAMMU, Apr 25: Fifth National Sports Kempo Championship, organised Sports Kempo Association of J&K, concluded at Sports Council Hall Bhagwati Nagar, here today.
More than 300 players and coaches from different States participated in the event which was declared open by chief guest, Amin Pathon, chairman, Dargah Committee Ajmer.
Prominent persons including Dr Ravi Lalwani (President of Sports Kempo Association India), Samurai Reshma Lalwani and Farooq Ahmed Dar were present during the event. The championship was organized under the supervision of Gul-e-Surkhab (President, Sports Kempo Association of J&K) in assistance with general secretary Harshvardhan Raina.
Ranbir Jasrotia District Session Judge MACT was the chief guest of the closing ceremony along with guest of honour, Dr SM Bali, joint secretary Indian Olympic Association along with social activist, Tarun Uppal and Vikas Dogra (Manager Indoor Complex Bhagwati Nagar Jammu).
The winners were felicitated with medals and trophies for their achievement by the chief guest in presence of other dignitaries.
