JAMMU, Feb 27: Narulas The First Step School organized its 13th Annual Day at Police Auditorium, Gulshan Ground, here today.
Dr Nirmal Singh, Former Deputy Chief Minister, J&K as the chief guest, while Abhay Rustam Sopori, Santoor Maestro and Music Composer and Singer and Mamta Singh were the guests of honour.
Ranjeet Kalra, Assistant Director, University of Jammu , vice chairman, Sports Council, Jammu and Member Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), Pradeep Dutta, Bureau Chief, Times Now & Urja Singh, president, The Performers, Group of Art & Culture were special invitees.
The function was based on the theme of celebrating the free spirit of India. It started with Saraswati Vandana, followed by a trip to different regions of India, folk dances, plays, display of ABACUS skills, celebrities of India, musical play on global warming and songs.
Mr. Singh addressed the audience after the prize distribution and appreciated the theme of the event. Rita Narula, Chairperson of the School presented mementoes to the guests.
The programme was concluded with a vote of thanks by Tanvi Narula, Principal of the School who expressed her gratitude to the parents for reposing faith in the school and their continuous efforts helping the school grow.
