JAMMU, Aug 27: Nand Public Higher Secondary School, Muthi, Jammu emerged overall winner in the District Jammu Thai Boxing Championship organized by Jammu and Kashmir Thai Boxing Association, here.
The second place in the Championship was bagged by Springdale School, while Bagwati Haqiqat Memorial High School got the third place.
Around 250 players drawn from 9 schools of Jammu City participated in the event.
Shamsher Singh Manhas, Member Parliament was the chief guest on the occasion, who distributed prizes among the winners, while Managing Director of Nand Public School was the guest of honour.
The officiating team included Ankush Sharma, Nihal Lalotra, Priya, Mohit Koul, Vishal, Rishab Verma and Gourav Sharma.
The gold medalists of various age groups in both the sections included Urvashi, Chatna, Mansi, Tanvi, Chahat, Shubham, Anurag, Arpit Khajuria, Piyush Saharan, Ayush Sharma, Pranav, Naman Singh, Varun Kumar, Suhas Pandit, Gagandeep, Vansh, Rishi, Hardik, Varun Pandita, Vasu, Varun, Mohit Koul, Santosh Bahadur, Shubham Hans, Hiteshwar, Namit, Kartik and Mannat Sharma.
