*Sainik Colony B scripts solitary goal win

JAMMU, Nov 26: Nagrota United Football Club held Gorkha Brothers to (1-1) draw, while Sainik Colony Football Club B defeated Moonlight FC by a solitary goal in the ongoing B-Division Football League Tournament, being organised by the District Football Association (DFA) Jammu, under the aegis of Jammu and Kashmir Football Association (JKFA) at GGM Science College Hostel ground, here.
In the first match between Gorkha Brothers and Nagrota United, Gorkha Brothers scored the goal in 15th minute, while Nagrota United scored the equaliser in 35th minute. After scoring one goal each, both the teams failed to take the lead in stipulated time and the match ended in a draw.
In another match, Sainik Colony B defeated Moon Light Football Club by (1-0). The goal was scored by Akash in 40th minute via Penalty Stroke.
The matches were officiated by Ricky, Dheeraj Meenia, Dil Bahadur, Ajay, Rahul, Rocky and Abhishek.
Senior Congress leader Thakur Jai Singh was the chief guest on the occasion, while prominent among others present on the occasion were Surinder Singh, Ravi Singh, Narinder Gupta, Yousuf Don, Mohan Lal, Feastus Sotra, Bharat Bhushan, Harbans Lal, Rattan Lal and Krishan Lal.
In tomorrow’s fixture, Churchill Brothers will take on Pallanwala FC at 2:30 pm, while Real Jammu will face Akhnoor Tiger at 3:30 pm.
On the occasion, DFA Jammu presented a Junior National participation certificate to Gomini Rajput.
