MVIS honours Young Painters, Artists

JAMMU, Nov 19: MV International School honoured the young painters and artists, who have excelled in National Level Painting Competition on “Save Environment” organized by Gyan Ganga Environment Society, Delhi.
The Gold Medal achievers were Raghav of VII B, Keshav of IV A, Aksaini Sharma of IV B and Priyanshi of IV C. The Silver Medal Achievers were Atish of VIII A, Abinav of VI A, Amandeep of IV B, Saksham of III B, Harsh of III C and Mannat of II B. The Bronze Medal Achievers were Pratham of VIII A, Samyara of V B, Mayank of III A, Samaksh of III C and Paiyush of II. They were honoured with medals and certificates.
29 students won the consolation trophy for the event. The guide and mentor of students, Art Teacher, Gourav Mahajan also received the appreciation trophy and certificate for his contribution.
MVEANs also showed their imaginary and creative skills in the State Level Painting Competition on “Energy Conversation” organized by NHPC, under which nearly 430 schools participated and more than 33000 students took part across the State of J&K.
Four students from MV International School were selected for the State level event and they won cash award worth Rs 1000, a bag and appreciation certificate. They are Adhyam of VI B, Tavleen of VI C under category A and Pratham of VIII A and Atish of VIII B under Category B.
Principal felicitated the winners with medals, trophies and appreciation certificates.
Director of the School quoted that the every child has some or the other hidden talent, it is the teacher and the institute which works and nourishes this talent.
