MV Int’l wins Gold in Nat’l Meet

JAMMU, Nov 28: Student of MV International School, Sanjali made the School proud by clinching Gold medal in National Painting Competition during the AFS National Meet held at Varanasi.
Her painting was declared as ‘All India Best Presentation’ in group-A category. This national meet was attended by 120 students, 60 AFS coordinators and School Principals from 60 prominent schools of the country.
The participating students also exhibited their skills in poetry by describing unity in diversity of Indian culture.
Manvi Bagul and Anshita Choudhary from class 9th along with Navneet Kour AFS coordinator were the School representatives, which was organised by American Field Services (AFS), at the Sunbeam School, Varanasi.
The delegates were also taken for a heritage walk to Sarnath, a historical site where Gautama Buddha first taught Dharma, followed by a boat ride to the famous Vishwanath Temple.
