JAMMU, Oct 27: Maharaja Ranjeet Singh Hockey (MRSH) Club, BSF Jammu and Singh Club won their respective matches played today on the 2nd day of Shaheed Baba Banda Singh (BBS) Bahadur Memorial Hockey Tournament.
The tournament is being organized by Kashmir Sikh Sangat under the aegis of Hockey J&K at KK Hakku Astro Turf Stadium, Jammu.
In the first match of the day, MRSH Club, Simbal Camp defeated Kashmir Sikh Sangat Hockey (KSSH) Club by 4-2 goals. The match result was decided a tie breaker as the full-time match ended in 1-1 draw. MRSH Club scored 3 goals and KSS Club scored 1 goal in tie breaker. Thus, MRSH Club thrashed KSSH Club by 4-2.
In second match, BSF Jammu beat Guru Nanak Nagar Club (GNNC) by 2-1. From BSF Jammu, both the goals were scored by Vicky Singh. First goal was scored by Vicky in 28th minute and 2nd in 45th minute. From GNNC, the lone goal was scored by Amandeep Singh in 30th minute.
In 3rd match of the day, Singh Club, Bandhu Rakh defeated Ratnuchak Warriors by 5-1.
The matches were officiated by Karanjeet Singh, Manjeet Singh, Joginder Singh, Jagjeet Singh Reen, Jaspreet Singh, Jagjit Singh, Senapati and Gurjeet Singh.
