JAMMU, Oct 25: Model Academy organized UN Mock Parliament Session to commemorate the UNO Day.
Three delegates representing mock ambassadors of five countries including India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, China and USA shared their views on the two burning issues of the present time, “World Peace and Drug Abuse”. The students put forward their opinions and made assertive statements reflecting their point of view to resolve problems affecting almost every country on earth.
Muskan Dhar of class XII represented India and was adjudged as the best speaker. The delegates representing India were ranked first in the session.
Dr Adit Gupta, Joint Director MIER said that such events broadens one’s perspective and offers a great learning experience.
Principal, Pramod Srivastava, teachers of Social Science Department Poonam Gupta, Preeti Trisal and Samiksha Dhingra, besides many others were present on the occasion.
