JAMMU, Aug 3: Students of Model Academy B.C Road participated in an Inter School Business Festival ‘Negotium Agon’, at Wyngberg- Allen School, Mussourie recently.
Five students of the school, Nishtha Aggarwal, Anshul Thakur, Akshita Gupta, Akshita Bhardwah and Saksham Akaii along with an escort teacher Ms. Navleen Kour took part in the Business Quiz, Apogee and Consilium- Pamphlet designing competition. Around twenty prestigious schools from all over India participated in the competition. The Guest of Honour for the occasion was Kartik Taneja, Head of Channel Sales, Google India.
In his address Taneja, made a special mention about the students of Model Academy for their presentation on Bio-mimicry. He further added that students should keep three principles in mind i.e., think creatively, think deep and think out of the box.
While interacting with the alumni of the school the students learnt that it is important to be confident, gain experience, showcase skills, analyze and uncover personal aptitude for achieving greater things in life.
Anshul Thakur won the outstanding trophy for best pamphlet designing. The students were awarded with certificates and book marks. Director MIER, Dr. Adit Gupta congratulated the students for their efforts and impressed upon them to take part in such activities that would help them to enhance their personalities.
