Model Academy celebrates Senior Citizens Day

JAMMU, Sept 11: Model Academy today celebrated “Senior Citizens Day”, with great pomp and show.
Rupa Gupta, Principal, Model Academy, in her address stressed upon the importance of seniors in the family and the love and respect needed to be given to them. She also said that the senior citizens are the assets of the society and it is our duty to look after them carefully.
During the celebrations, the students of classes V to VII from both the branches of the school went to Amphala Old Age Home and interacted with the senior citizens.
The whole programme was coordinated by Reeta Khanna, Manju Vali, convener, Cultural Committee of the school along with the Vice Principal Usha Gadoo.
