JAMMU, May 11: Modern Montessori International (MMI) Preschool, Jammu celebrated Annual Fitness Day with zeal and zest in the school premises, here today.
The programme was anchored by Shilpa Deol and Avneet Kour.
The programme began with the welcome speech by Class Directress Sheetal Kour, wherein she greeted all the mothers who were part of the programme and appreciated their spirit, cooperation and understanding. She wished them good luck.
The welcome speech was followed by a skit ‘Healthy Body Healthy Mind’ with a message that fitness is lifestyle that carries throughout your life.
The teachers of MMI presented a beautiful dance performance on the occasion, which was followed by special invitee Pavit Kour’s performance, who involved MMI’s Moms in Zumba.
The Fitness Competitions Burpees, Squads and Mountain Climbing were held on the occasion.
The Directors of the School, Bhavana Rohmetra and Sapna Rohmetra alongwith Principal Pragya Gupta distributed prize among the winners on the occasion.
The title ‘Fit Mom’ was bagged by Asher’s Mom Vasundhra Samnotra.
The programme concluded with the performance of Sukhwinder Singh Jaral, who introduced new fitness cum dance item which was mixture of dance, zumba, aerobics and cross fitness training.
Vote of thanks was presented by Principal Pragya Gupta, who expressed gratitude to the Directors of the School, Team MMI, Mothers of MMI, Pavit Kaur and Sukhwinder.
