JAMMU, Feb 25: Minerva Public School celebrated its Annual Day Function with great enthusiasm and fervour in the school premises, here today.
Om Parkash Bhagat, Deputy Commissioner, Kathua adorned the occasion as the chief guest while Dr Bharat Bhushan presided over the function.
Aruna Sharma, DEPO Kathua and Prof (Dr) Ram Murti Sharma were the special guests,
Mahi Paul Sharma Chairman Minerva Public School, Sheetal Sharma Principal Minerva Kathua, Ruhy Sharma Principal MPS Barnoti, Senior BJP Leader Prem Nath Dogra, Jagdish Raj Poonia Sarpanch Barnoti and Sohan Lal Sharma along with parents of the students graced the occasion with their presence.
The program commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, followed by welcome song.
Little Minervians of the school presented colorful cultural items, depicting various festivals of India.
The Middle Wing of the school depicted the different seasons in the form of dance and the senior students performed a cultural extravagant comprising of patriotic performance and bhangra.
The cultural programs enthralled the audience. The function was also attended by the Managing Committee Members.
The programme ended with the presentation of National Anthem.
