MHSCC to lock horns with Bawa Jitto in finals

JAMMU, Oct 6: Trouncing their rivals in their respective matches, Maharaja Hari Singh Cricket Club will lock horns with Bawa Jitto Cricket Club in the final summit of the ongoing Bunty Salathia Memorial Cricket Tournament, being played at Nagbani, here on Sunday.
In the 2nd semi-finals match, MHSCC defeated Soldier Cricket Club.
Batting first, Soldier CC gave a target of 120 runs, wherein Nannu made 31 runs, while Ajju contributed 26 runs. From the bowling side, Raman took 3 wickets, while Ajay got 2 wickets.
In reply, MHSCC chased the set target in 18 overs by losing 5 wickets and registered 5 wickets victory over Soldier CC. Jagmohan made quick fire 38 runs, while Rahul and Sumit contributed 30 runs each.
Raman was adjudged as man of the match for claiming 3 wickets. The organisers of the tournament including Dinesh Salathia, Vijay Salathia and Lucky Sharma were present during the event.
